Fight - UK - Fury over bus service cutbacks
Edinburgh,Scotoland,UK -The Scotsman, by ALAN RODEN -6 Sept 2006: -- Hundreds of residents have protested against a series of cut-backs to bus services in the city... Three separate petitions have been set up by community leaders in the Capital, angry at changes to Lothian Buses' timetables... In Dumbiedykes, nearly 300 residents are fighting plans to axe the number 60 route on Saturdays and during rush hours. They say the elderly and disabled will be hardest hit, because they will be unable to walk up the hill on Holyrood Road to do their shopping...
