And with the heavy reliance on public transportation, in 2005 the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority, Inc. (NJTPA) gave Hudson County a grant of $160,000 to conduct a study of the transportation system of the county... The Hudson County Regional Bus Circulation and Infrastructure Study, which officially began last March, will focus on the circulation patterns of the buses and private jitneys throughout the county, as well as plans to improve the current system and infrastructure...
