Departures leave district in a pinch

Now district transportation director Dave Kramer just needs to find people to drive them... Kramer told the school district's board of education Monday that although he hired several drivers over the last school year, one retired and four resigned in the spring. That leaves the district with about 60 drivers - some substitutes, some part time and some full time - a handful fewer than Kramer would like to have on staff by August...
