Buses broke down - UK - Hit by rising heat
Wolverhampton,England,UK -expressandstar.com, by Mark Douglas -July 4, 2006: -- One in 11 Black Country buses broke down in a single day because they could not cope with the heat... Most overheated, leaving hundreds of passengers waiting. A total of 55 Travel West Midlands vehicles, nine per cent of the fleet, failed because of the heat - and mechanics are expecting a repeat... To make matters worse, passengers had to put up with temperatures on some buses well into the 90s as temperatures rose again...
