Purchases - Angola - Macon updates fleet with Chinese and Brazilian buses
Luanda, Angola -Angolan news agency Angpop/Macauhub (Macau,China) -28 June 2006: -- Angolan private public transport company Macon will begin renewing its fleet of buses in August using Brazilian and Chinese buses, the company’s operations manager, Willian Aparecido Silva told... The new buses, 15 Volkswagens and 53 Kinglong brand buses from China, are part of an investment by the company of around US$2 million. Aparecido Silva said that the new vehicles would cover a lack of buses felt by the company and the market, as of the 122 vehicles in Macon’s fleet only 94 are currently in use...
