Purchase - USA - Agency short on money to purchase buses for Head Start
TUPELO, Miss,USA -Associated Press -Jun. 08, 2006: -- A Tupelo-based community action agency is nearly $200,000 short of the funding needed to purchase buses for its Head Start programs... A Health and Human Services grant was awarded to the agency, Lift Inc., for the purchase, but the buses were not ordered... When the grant proposal was written in the fall of 2004, it was to replace all of the agency's buses with new ones with child restraints...
