Free Bus Rides - USA - CDTA offers, to battle high gas prices
Albany,NY,USA -The Albany Business Review -8 June 2006: -- The Capital District Transportation Authority kicked off a week-long promotion Thursday in which it is giving people in Albany, Schenectady, Rensselaer and Saratoga counties in New York a free pass to ride the bus to work... CDTA officials said they hoped to turn people who are unhappy with high gasoline prices into regular bus commuters to work... The authority's promotion will run through June 15. Motorists can visit the authority's Web site to find out more about the free day pass promotion...
