To hit the City - Qatar - Expats eagerly await city buses
Doha,Qatar -The Peninsula, by Satish Kanadi -May 19, 2006: -- With hardly four days to go for the Mowasalat buses to hit the city roads in a big way, the mood is upbeat in the middle and low-income expatriate communities... The immediate reaction to Mowasalat's plans from these people is good news for the company... A cross-section of people this newspaper spoke to, said they were eagerly awaiting the D-day. Some of them have dropped plans, at least for the time being, to buy a low budget or used car... The main beneficiaries of Mowasalat's plans will be middle-level employees of private firms...
