Production - Venezuela - Chinese buses for assembly in
Caracas,Venezuela -El Universal -16 May 2006: -- Chinese firm Worldwide Group said it would import to Venezuela 5,000 buses in the next few weeks, while it is opening a plant to assemble passenger transportation vehicles in northwestern Falcón state... Company spokespeople said in a news conference the assembly plant is expected to start operating within 18 months. Corporate representatives Hu Jingham and Zhu Baojie would not disclose figures regarding investment, production or job generation... Sources said the buses are to be sold 40 percent under current domestic market prices...
