City unveils new fleet of buses
Saskatoon,Saskatchewan,Canada -The StarPhoenix, by Lori Coolican -May 16, 2006: -- Saskatoon Transit rolled out 17 brand new buses Monday, offering a sneak peak at the upcoming Direct Access Rapid Transit (DART) system... Passengers can soon settle into high-backed upholstered chairs and enjoy the quiet comfort offered by noise-absorbing walls and air conditioning, along with fewer stops... Starting July 2, a fleet of 27 green buses (17 new and 10 repainted existing buses) will begin the more frequent DART service to carry passengers to the city's two most popular destinations: the University of Saskatchewan and the downtown area...
