Kiwanis Manor,Alberta, Canada -Wetaskiwin Times Advertiser, by Nick Puhjera -Apr 24, 2006: -- At least one Kiwanis Manor resident is fuming over how residents of the Peace Hills Lodge complex will lose control of their HandiVan bus to a management committee... “We were under the impression back in 1992 we funded the bus through bingos and other fundraising,” said Peace Hills Lodge Pioneer Association president Richard Boyer. “For years the association supplied the fuel, oil changes, transmission work, any maintenance work that had to be done.”... The management committee will consist of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home, Peace Hills Lodge, the city of Wetaskiwin and Wetaskiwin county. Peace Hills’ activity bus and other buses will be run by a separate department. Each organization will have to submit a schedule and pay for bus usage...
