Promotion - USA - PSTA will adapt to attract more bicycle riders to buses
St. Petersburg, FL,USA -St. Petersburg Times, by By JON WILSON -Dec 4, 2005: -- Starting next spring, the county bus agency will do away with the $2 permit required to let riders load their bicycles on bus fronts... The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority board also voted Wednesday to install bicycle racks at 12 bus stops in St. Petersburg, matching the city government's plan to put in the same number... The moves represent a further step toward encouraging use of alternate forms of transportation, officials said...
