P.E.I.'s two biggest school boards are encouraging their bus drivers to cut back on how much time they idle their engines in an effort to save fuel prices and clear the air at Island schools... The board responsible for schools in the western end of the province is going a step further and asking drivers to plug in their buses at home overnight to cut back on morning idling. The Western School Board is also looking at installing plugs at the schools so buses are kept warm during the day...
