NON PROFIT SERVICE * USA - Transportation Department commends bus line
Boulder County,Denver,CO,USA -YourHub.com -8 April 2009: -- The Boulder County Transportation Department gave kudos today to a grassroots venture that is providing much-needed transit service to the County's mountain towns... Alternative Modes Coordinator, Scott McCarey, expressed his thanks to Phillip Carter, who launched the new "Climb" bus route to Ward and Gold Hill, along with the small cadre of volunteer drivers who are helping to make the non-profit service possible... Carter decided to launch the bus line after a concerned Gold Hill resident approached him last summer regarding the possibility of a shuttle from the mountain community into Boulder. Currently there are no other busses regularly serving the communities, forcing commuters and parents of students who attend Boulder schools to drive more than 30 minutes down a winding canyon into Boulder...
