Williamsburg Area Transport gets many applications from local school bus drivers
Williamsburg,VA,USA -The Daily Press, by TYRA M. VAUGHN -January 12, 2009: -- When Williamsburg Area Transport Operations Director Leon Sisco is looking to hire new bus operators, applications from local school bus drivers almost always get a second look... He said their availability, commercial driver's license and certification to carry passengers make them ideal job candidates for the Williamsburg-based transportation company, which relies heavily on licensed bus operators who can work evenings and weekends... The need for drivers with this skill set became more crucial last November when the Williamsburg Area Transit Authority, the organization that manages WAT, decided to expand the transportation company's service to include Sundays, Sisco said...
