PARENTS * UK - We need more buses
Forfar,Scotland,UK -The Kirriemuir Today, by Janet Thomson -12 March 2008: -- Arrangements for transporting school children from the west end of town to their temporary accommodation at Chapelpark Primary School have been criticised by parents... At the moment, two buses are provided by Angus Council for the pupils who were decanted last Wednesday to enable a new school to be built on the Langlands site. A "walking bus" has also been established but places are limited due to the number of adult volunteers who walk with the children. One parent, who did not wish to be named, has highlighted inconsistencies in the transport arrangements; she has set up a petition which has secured almost 300 signatures in only a few days...
