* Canada - Go Transit ready to deploy double-decker regional transit buses

Toronto,ONT,CAN -Today's Trucking -20 March 2008: -- Ontario's provincially owned public transit network, GO Transit, is launching a fleet of double-decker passenger buses. They can seat 78 passengers -- 46 on the upper level and 32 on the lower level -- offering 37 per cent more seating capacity than its regular highway buses... * UK - New Buses for Derby
Derby,England,UK -The Derby Evening Telegraph -22 Mar 2008: -- Bus users can look forward to travelling in style after a ?7 million deal was struck with operator Arriva for a new fleet of vehicles across Derby... A total of 59 new buses will be introduced from October this year for services in Chaddesden, Mackworth, Sinfin and Chellaston... The vehicles will have various features, including easy-to-access floors and seating... And as part of the deal, Derby City Council will also spend ?150,000 installing electronic information displays in the city...
