Extra 20 school buses * Australia - Added to Darwin services
Darwin,NT,Australia -ABC News -Feb 6, 2008: -- Northern Territory Transport Minister Delia Lawrie says an extra 20 school buses have been added to Darwin school services to cope with issues of overcrowding on school buses... Ms Lawrie says packed buses meant some students were left behind at the Palmerston interchange this week... But she denies claims from the Opposition Leader that nine-year-olds were kicked off their bus... "Kids aren't ever kicked off a bus," she said... The Opposition says there has been an influx of students heading into Darwin because Palmerston's middle school did not open as planned this term...
