PREMIERE * Vietnam - Tourist buses to debut in metros
A major transport operator will introduce hop on-hop off buses for tourists, first in Ho Chi Minh City this month, and later in Hanoi and other places
Ho Chi Minh City,Vietnam - The Thanh Nien Daily -November 5, 2007: -- ... The Global Mai Linh Travel Company (GMT) plans to introduce City Look on November 22 in HCMC, which will go around districts 1, 3 and 5, stopping at 11 major spots along the way... The buses will be equipped with an “electronic” tour guide in English and Vietnamese that will provide information about the tourist spots along the route... * City schedules more night buses

With a total of 212 bus routes, city authorities have recently opened five night routes. But that number was still not sufficient to meet demand... Opening more bus routes is essential to reduce the number of motorbikes in the city and reduce traffic congestion...
