Bolton,England,UK -TheBolton News, by Rob Devey -3 Nov 2007: -- A door-to-door bus service has been granted a further year's funding by transport chiefs... The Eagley Local Link, which is half-way through a six month trial, will operate until at least October 2008 following the decision by the Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Authority (GMPTA)... The dial-a-ride service, which replaced the little-used 529 bus, will pick up anyone living in Eagley from their homes... Passenger numbers have increased by more than 50 per cent during the trial...
