To meet Euro IV emission standards, selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalysts are part of first Euro IV diesel engines in China... About 450 of the specially equipped buses will be on Beijing streets by the end of 2007, with an additional 600 buses scheduled for 2008. The SCR systems, from BASF Catalysts, are projected to cut NOx (nitrogen oxides) emissions from the buses by more than 60 percent...
