Raleigh,NC,USA -The News & Observer - Aug 18, 2007: -- The town of Chapel Hill had planned to spend about $2.5 million on four 60-foot "articulated" buses, which bend in the middle and carry twice as many passengers as a regular bus -- almost like two buses in one... But the money turned out to be only enough for three of the giant vehicles, still three more than any other Triangle community... This is the first bus of its type operated in the Triangle, according to a town news release...
