Two months later than originally planned, Budapest public transport operator BKV has started testing electronic information boards at some bus stops on route 86
Budapest Hungary -All Hungary News/Caboodle.hu -31 July 2007: -- ... The bus stops can also talk if activated by remote control by visually impaired passengers... The devices have been introduced on four stops on route 86, at Batthány tér, in both directions at Margit híd (Margaret Bridge) and at Kiscelli utca. Electronic information boards will indicate how long passengers have to wait for the next bus. In addition, passengers can view a map on which the current position of the bus is indicated by a light...
