Four corporations to acquire 4,000 buses


Karnataka,Bangalore,India -The Hindu, by Anil Kumar Sastry & Nagesh Prabhu -7 Aug 2007: -- The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC), the North-West Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) and the North-East KRTC (NEKRTC) are on an expansion spree aimed at improving facilities for passengers... The corporations plan to acquire 4,000 new buses, including 72 Volvos, and construct 46 bus stations across the State.
