75 more vestibule buses to be added in phases
Tamil Nadu,Chennai,India -The Hindu, by P. Oppili -12 May 2007: -- The Metropolitan Transport Corporation will add 25 new vestibule buses to its fleet next week... The new buses would be longer than the existing vestibule buses, MTC authorities said... The new buses would be fitted with automatic doors, something that would help in preventing footboard travel. Similarly, it would not be possible for the passengers to alight or board the buses at halts other than at scheduled stops, an MTC official said...
