DANGEROUS DRIVERS * Venezuela - Bus crash, kills 17, injures 20
Caracas,Venezuela -AP/USA Today (USA) -18 May 2007: -- Two buses crashed in western Venezuela on Friday, killing at least 17 people and injuring 20... Venezuela's Civil Protection chief, Col. Antonio Rivero, told that the accident took place on a highway linking Zulia and Lara states on Friday evening... Rivero said the death toll could climb because the accident caused a fire and victims might be found in the remains of the vehicles... He said there were indications the accident was caused by "excessive velocity," combined with heavy rains...
