Carlisle,PA,USA -The Carlisle Sentinel, by Heather Stauffer -March, 2007: -- Capital Area Transit (CAT) recently received the last of 25 buses it ordered last year to replace aging members of its fleet... This was an unusually large purchase for CAT, operations assistant Thomas Collins said, since the entire fleet numbers only 78 buses... The impetus for the mass order, which was shared between 2006 and 2007, was the large number of buses approaching federal transit administration guidelines for the maximum life of buses...
