* USA - Charter bus collides with tractor-trailer in N.C.
Weldon,N.C.,USA -Associated Press/News 14 Carolina (Raleigh,NC) -2 Mar 2007: -- Authorities say 50 people were taken to hospitals after a charter bus carrying a senior citizens group headed home from Atlantic City, New Jersey, collided with a tractor-trailer in Halifax County... Sergeant R.P. Hargrove of the state Highway Patrol says that as the tractor-trailer backed up, it crossed into the path of the charter bus. Rabat,Morocco -MAP news agency/ASSOCIATED PRESS/Jerusalem Post (Jerusalem,Israel) -Mar. 3, 2007: -- A bus skidded off a treacherous mountain road in north-central Morocco, killing nine people and injuring 45 others, hospital officials in Meknes, near the accident site, said Saturday... The accident happened outside the town of Khenifra late morning, apparently caused by high speeds and a mechanical problem, the report said, citing unidentified local officials...

The Bluffton College team bus on its way here for a double-header today crashed Friday in Atlanta, killing six, including four baseball players, and injuring 29 others... The bus crashed before daybreak, when it tumbled over the side of an Atlanta highway overpass and slammed onto the pavement 30 feet below, killing four students, the driver and his wife... Investigators said the driver apparently mistook an exit ramp for a lane and went into the curve at full speed. It was dark at the time, but the weather was clear...
