Cape Town,South Africa -The Independent Online, by Sipokazi Maposa -Jan 11 2007: -- More than 100 unroadworthy buses and taxis have been hauled off the province's roads and 45 drunk and reckless long-distance drivers arrested over the festive season in a zero-tolerance crackdown... According to the latest Arrive Alive figures, since December 1, 2006 at least 107 buses and minibus taxis travelling on the N1, N2 and N7 highways were found to be unroadworthy when traffic officials stopped them...
