"big success"... - Quatar - Buses carried 7.5mn passengers in first year, says official
Doha,Qatar -The Gulf Times, by Ramesh Mathew -7 Nov 2006: -- In the first year of its operations, buses of the government-owned transport firm Mowasalat carried about 7.5mn passengers... The company has already allotted more than 300 buses for the use of the Doha Asian Games Organising Committee (Dagoc) for special use during the games... The Mowasalat official said the company buses held a test run for the Asian Games last Friday. More than 300 buses, with at least 4,000 passengers on board organised the test run, which Tallant described as a "big success"...
