Madurai,India -The Chennai Online (Chennai,In) -Sept 20, 2006: -- Tamil Nadu State Express Transport Corporation buses, plying on long distance routes, will carry couriers and parcels to augment revenue, Transport Minister K N Nehru has said... Inaugurating bus services in 40 routes here last evening, he welcomed the suggestion made by Nanguneri MLA H Vasanthakumar and said "we will soon launch parcel service through passenger buses"... He also said 8,000 drivers and conductors would be recruited to fill the vacancies in the transport corporation...
