A new study, released today, shows that four out of ten people using the busy West Approach Road choose to travel to work with Lothian Buses during an average morning rush hour... said similar results would also be expected on the Calder Road and Corstorphine Road Greenways. The city's largest public transport operator said the study proved the success of Edinburgh's bus lanes policy, following criticism from business leaders in recent weeks... Last month, the Scottish arm of the Institute of Directors said the system is adding to congestion by leaving traffic lanes "largely empty" for the exclusive use of buses and taxis...
