The following information is offered to refresh drivers and children about the laws and precautions necessary in order to arrive at school and return to home safely:... The speed limit in school zones is 15 mph... If a school bus is stopped on a street or road which has fewer than four lanes, all traffic in either direction must stop... Should you fail to stop for a school bus picking up or dropping off students, the bus driver can report your vehicle and license plate to the law enforcement agency with jurisdiction in that area... The law enforcement agency will conduct an investigation to confirm the driver of the vehicle and may issue a citation for the violation...
