Misunderstanding - USA - Sends bus rider 500-plus miles off course
CALUMET, Mich.,USA -WOOD-TV (Grand Rapids,MI)/Associated Press -3 Aug 2006: -- It's a long way from Kalamazoo to Calumet... Just ask Miguel Angel Garcia... The resident of Veracruz, Mexico, hopped on a Greyhound bus in New Jersey after visiting friends there. He thought his next destination was Kalamazoo, where his father lives... But the 21-year-old Garcia speaks little English... An apparent misunderstanding landed him on a bus for Calumet in the far northwestern Upper Peninsula ... more than 500 miles off target... Greyhound is picking up the tab for the extra trip...
