Melbourne,Australia -The Melbourne Herald Sun -August 03, 2006: -- The NSW Government has dismissed renewed calls for an expansion of Sydney's light rail system, saying buses are a better option... Transport Minister John Watkins said today there were a number of limitations on trams operating in the CBD... Passengers were opposed to the idea of changing from buses to trams to complete their journey into the city, he said, and trams would be restricted to under 10km/h on the proposed routes...
