Report - Australia - Buses too successful
Brisbane,VA,Australia -Australasian Bus and Coach -18 July 2006: -- Bus travel had become so successful in Brisbane that pasengers were being left behind at an average 240 stops a day, according to consultant Peter Forster... His report on the Brisbane City Council's Brisbane Transprot found that its 680 bus fleet was at least 50 buses short of what was required for the growing patroange... The council simply did not have enough buses to meet peak demand, which lead to saevere overcrowding, late running, service cancellations and 'bus stop rage'...
