Motorists illegally parked - UK - Wardens on buses to catch drivers
Motorists clog up bus lanes by parking on themEdinburgh,Scotland,UK -BBC News -22 May 2006: -- Traffic wardens in Edinburgh are to travel on the city's buses in a bid to catch motorists illegally parked on bus lanes... Greenway patrollers in the capital will use public transport in a pilot scheme to trap drivers who flout the rules... Two wardens will hop off the buses whenever they see vehicles blocking one of the city's priority routes... Once they have issued £60 fixed penalty fines, they will catch the next bus to continue their patrol...
