Gas-powered buses - Russia - Over 300 to run on Moscow's roads
MOSCOW,Russia -RIA Novosti -2 Mar 2006: -- At least 300 buses fueled by compressed natural gas will be operating on Moscow's public transport routes in the near future, the city's Transportation and Communications Department said... Natural-gas buses, an environmentally friendly alternative to buses burning conventional fuels, will feature in 11 of the city's bus fleets... The capital is also working to increase the use of dimethyl ether as a clean-burning alternative to other automotive fuels...
