Difficulties - Malaysia - Transport industry near collapse, say groups
PETALING JAYA,Malaysia -Malaysia Star -March 7, 2006 : -- The public transport industry could collapse as many companies were finding it difficult to sustain themselves, said the Federation of Public Service Vehicle Operators Associations... Its chairman Zamri Mahmud said some bus companies had already shut down and more companies could soon face financial woes... Zamri said members were in limbo because their request for an increase in fuel quota and for subsidised fuel at RM1 per litre made in the middle last year had not been approved...
