Dublin, Ireland -RTE News -23 Dec 2005: -- Dublin Bus is to commence a pilot project on the use of bio-fuels in its fleet next year, because the spike in oil prices means its diesel bill will double in just three years... The Government says last month's Budget will incentivise the creation of domestic green fuel alternatives, however, some farmers say it is simply 'too little, too late'... This year, the Dublin Bus fleet travelled 59 million kilometres. Next year that will increase by 5%. In 2005, the fleet used 25,000 tonnes of diesel...
