Dublin,Ireland -RTE.ie -6 Jan 2006: -- New research has shown that increased traffic congestion in Dublin is slowing down the average speed of bus journeys in the capital, leading to longer journey times for commuters... The consultants' report also shows that traffic gridlock at peak times is costing Dublin Bus millions of euro each year... Consultants BDO Simpson Xavier concluded that the speed of the Dublin Bus fleet at peak times in the morning is 36% slower than international comparative cities...
