Free Parks - UK - Drivers urged to park and ride and beat congestion
Scotland,Edinburgh, UK -Scotsman -29 Aug 2005: -- THOUSANDS of commuters are being urged to use free park-and-ride facilities to beat congestion problems in the west of the city... The move is part of a campaign to encourage more of the hundreds of thousands of drivers coming into west Edinburgh every day on to public transport... The city council is holding a programme of events to coincide with European Mobility Week, which aims to cut congestion in city centres...
