First's UK bus business boasts a 9,000-strong fleet, carrying three million passengers a day...
* UK - More Men Pass L Test: Bus And Train Use Rises

Over the period January 2007 to December 2007, the pass rate for car 'L' driver tests was 51% for males and 41% for females in Northern Ireland - although there is no explanation of why there is such a differential - it was also clear that more people are now using public transport... There were 19.66 million public bus passenger journeys made during the quarter, a weekly average of 1.51 million...
