Bendy bus trouble * UK - Fleet goes back on road
A fleet of "bendy" buses is to go back on the road following an incident in which three people were injured
London,UK -BBC News -7 January 2008: -- Bus operator Stagecoach suspended use of its 14 articulated buses after the back end of one of the vehicles began to swing about on a motorway... The driver had to pull over into the hard shoulder on the M77 near Newton Mearns, East Renfrewshire, on Saturday... Stagecoach said each of the buses had passed a detailed safety inspection and would be back in service on Monday... Checks on the faulty vehicle are to continue, with the investigation focusing on the chassis legs and turntable which link the two parts of the bus...
