The Clear Creek School District got the go-ahead Monday night to buy 19 new school buses

The new buses, which will be purchased from Longhorn Bus Sales, will cost the district nearly $1.7 million. They will be paid for with bond funds...
* DPS could order 10 new buses for 2008-09 school year

Jerry Uchtorff, the district's director of operations, told the DPS board that needs change from what was offered 10 years ago... The board will vote on purchasing about 10 new buses at its Dec. 10 meeting. Then the order will be placed, the buses built, and the district will take delivery sometime in the summer...
