At more than 400 pounds, Lulu Clay was kicked off the CATS Special Transportation BusCharlotte,NC,USA -wbtv.com -23 Aug 2007: -- ... Then, she says she was banned from riding all CATS buses because of her weight. CATS officials said her weight plus the weight of her automated wheelchair was too much for the lifts on their fleet of buses... She got a letter last week indicating that she could no longer ride any city-operated bus. WBTV has learned this is a fight that has been going on for several months and Lulu isn't going away...
