Driver Shortage * USA - Could delay school buses

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools has notified parents some school buses could be delayed when school starts next week while it tries to fill 90 driver vacancies and resolve “last minute issues with bus routes"

They include some buses to and from Davidson Elementary, Cornelius Elementary and Bailey Middle schools... With so many vacancies, some drivers will be asked to make extra runs to cover unfilled routes. School officials asked parents to be patient...
