TransLink’s first buses that run partly on hydrogen are now carrying passengers on regular routes in and Port Coquitlam
Coquitlam,B.C., Canada -The Coquitlam Tri City News/Black Press -Jun 22 2007: -- Two buses that were part of an alternative fuel test project over the past two years are now on the road, powered by a blend of 20% hydrogen and 80% compressed natural gas (CNG)... As a result of the switch, TransLink says the engine produces 40% less oxide of nitrogen than straight CNG, 20% fewer hydrocarbons and 11% less greenhouse gas...
