Officials Say They Hope Change Will Increase Safety
Washington,DC,USA -NBC 4.com -5 Mar 2007: -- Metro officials said Monday they are trying to make pedestrians safer with an experimental strobe light program using about 100 buses that travel on routes in the District... The buses are being outfitted with a strip of yellow flashing strobe lights that runs across the front of them... Officials said they hope the change will make the buses more visible, causing fewer incidents of wrecks or injuries to pedestrians...
