The issue of seat-belts on buses is of interest to the Canadian government
Charlottetown,Prince Edward Island,Canada -The Guardian -5 Feb 2007: -- While little to nothing has been done to legislate seat-belt use for bus passengers, Transport Canada offers this advice on one of it's Internet pages: "Sharing the Road Safely..Tips and Advice for Truck and Bus Drivers..Seat-BeltsAlways wear your seat-belt. In rollover collisions in particular, many truck and bus drivers have been killed or injured after they were ejected from the vehicle. Wearing seat-belts is the single most effective way to save lives and reduce injuries on our roads"... While there is no legislation mandating seat-belt use for passengers on buses, there has been study of the issue...
